Goldilocks and The Mammalsteins

Papa Bear, Mama Raccoon and their son Pup go on a walk while they wait for their porridge to cool. A very lost Goldilocks happens upon the trio’s cottage and lets herself in. Famished from trudging through the woods, Goldilocks gobbles up all of Pup’s porridge. She finds herself in big trouble when the family catches her asleep in Pup’s chair. Thankfully, Goldilocks’ comes up with a delicious way to apologize for her porridge-pinching.

The Musicians of Bremen

Fate brings together a cat, dog, pig and frog who want to become famous singers. After an improvisational test song together goes well, they go in search of the perfect rehearsal space. The perfect spot turns out to be a dilapidated cottage in the middle of the forest, but it’s overrun with bandits!

The Ugly Froggling

A sad frog wants to have a little tadpole of her own. When she finds an abandoned egg, she happily sits on it. In no time, the egg hatches she is surprised to find a baby Tyrannosaurus Rex. Instead of running away in fright, the frog decides to raise the darling dinosaur as her own. The new mother only hopes others will be as accepting of him.

The Emperor Monsters New Clothes

The mightiest Monster Emperor in the land is also the most fashionable. In preparation for a big ball coming up, the Emperor makes a kingdom-wide call for the newest, fanciest styles out there. A scheming tailor hears about the Emperor’s command and shows up with an amazing new trend: invisible fabric!

The Gingerbread Cupcake Fairy Man

An old woman wants to make a delicious dessert for husband and creates a magnificent Gingerbread Cupcake Fairy Man. Unknown to them, the pretty pastry hears their plans and runs away. The Cupcake Fairy Man’s plight isn’t over as he runs away from a menagerie of creatures that want to gobble him up. When the Cupcake Fairy finally feels safe, he mistakenly lets down his guard and is caught by the old woman. Will she have mercy on the Cupcake Fairy, or have him with a cup of tea?

Fractured Fables with Special Guest Benjamin Chaud

Author-Illustrator Benjamin Chaud joins the Yippee Skippy puppets for a bear of a time with a special Fractured Fables event. After a wolfish puppet retelling of The Three Billy Goats Gruff, Benjamin delights the audience with a drawing demo while Chelsea Camp reads his beautifully illustrated children’s book The Bear Song.

Benjamin Chaud has illustrated an impressive number of picture books, including the Pomelo The Garden Elephant series. He lives and works in Paris, France.

The Little Mermaid with a Special “Baby Song” Intro

Monkey and Frog introduce today’s Fractured Fables with a darling ode to tiny tykes.

A young mermaid falls deeply in love with a prince and asks a sea witch to give her legs so she may be on land with her love. The witch promises to grant her wish, for a price: the mermaid’s magnificent voice. The Little Mermaid tells her friends the exciting news, but when they voice their concerns about her plans, she swims away in a huff. The Little Mermaid gets her wish, but things don’t work out as she hoped. Will her underwater buddies help in her time of need?

Jack and the Beanstalk: Dum-Dum Disaster

In this fun-filled puppet adaptation of “Jack and the Beanstalk”, Jack is befriended by the ogre’s pastry-prodigy niece, Isabella. She figures Jack will be safe in the basement, until Uncle Ogre shows up in search of his stash of Dum Dum lollipops.
